The Swetland R/C Flyers Inc. is a radio controlled model airplane, helicopter and r/c car club located in Wyoming Pa and is a chartered club of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. Over the years our club has grown as well as our field, the main flying field is aprox, 1,000 x 250 feet. Our helicopter training area has plenty of room for hovering or any 3D stunt your thumbs are willing to try. We also have 2 r/c car tracks, one of the largest dirt tracks in Northeast Pa and a paved oval track for those who like the faster pace.

With just over 50 members, at this time our membership is closed, IF you are interested in joining our club in the future, please e-mail the club contact, send your name and number and we will add you to our very short waiting list as opening come along from time to time.

The purpose of the Swetland R/C Flyers is to promote the safety in all aspects of radio control. Most of our members are sport flyers, flying aircraft the fit in the palm of your hand to Giant scale aircraft. In today's new world of R/C Electric powered aircraft, heli's and cars, this has made a big difference in performance and in initial cost of entering the hobby.

Spectators are always welcome to stop by and watch our pilots take to the sky flying anything from sport, scale, giant scale or even real turbine powered jets and lets not forget helicopters..
